This episode is an academic assignment for my Doctoral Program on Trauma-Informed Practices and I will share with you what I have learned thus far and hope that this will provoke each of you to have these discussions with your healthcare providers, family, friends, co-workers, church members to learn to not to ask "what is wrong with this person" try asking "what happened to this person?"  We do this we are practicing empathy to get the person mental healthcare to obtain the trauma-informed care that is needed.
