Note that crontab is not on Windows which needs to be Linux or Mac OS compliant operating systems

Ubuntu Linux desktop tour with 2 running crypto currency strategies movie

Hi there This is a SILENT video of this new Ubuntu desktop environment I have set up 10 days for 2 working strategies with respect to crypto currency

First is the winning strategy

Everything is developed in Python

First strategy resides in 2 terminal sessions within Terminator

The third terminal session to get current profit and loss of the current running session

Now the second strategy, this one resides in another terminal application called LilyTerm

See that I can have tabbed sessions in one windows of the terminal app. Same with Terminator but I use a different app to distinguish the different running sessions

Both strategies also run with redis NOSQL

Both strategies connect into the same Redis-Server but different tables distinguish the strategies

Thee older (not newer successful strategy) tables all end in Old

This is the best way I came up with 2 have strategies work within the same system. There will be lots of other modifications but this is the basic set up I got right now.

As for the Redis client, I am still using Redis Desktop manager but it is true open source on Linux (this is running Ubuntu 18.04 which is the current version)

I also have the stand email client like Thunderbird with Firefox the browser. Nothing fancy but it works

Also, I use Filezilla a lot for FTP

Pretty simple description of how this whole thing works together. I could get a mic and audio setup but this is just the basic. As a result, no audio is on the sytsem so I just type like this which means it is silent. Sorry about the typos here but like you care.

Here are the big movers if you include volume and reduced volatility. I would remove the crypto currency pairs where they are tracked on a whipsaw list This is kept for about 3-6 hours to prevent positions that could go negative. This is important to understand to filter out for a higher probability of profitable trade.

2 strategies working to together

This is helpful but the newer strategy is combined with consistent winning ratio of at leas 75% but usually hovers around high 80's to low 90s. That is very ideal with 30-60 positions opened per 24 hours. It depends on the activity of the crypto currency asset class at that time.

Al positions will be combined into one eventual equity curve, I showed how to build that in an earlier post.
