This stagflation (not stagnation as the headline indicates) is a dangerous economic condition that affects everyone. It is when basic items like energy, food, etc goes up while the economy shrinks. Have you seen the stock market returns lately? Here are the returns for the Dow Jones Industrial Average according to MarketWatch:

5 day -1.7%

1 month -4.6%

3 month -3.2%

YTD -7.88%

You are losing money both on income an expense. Let’s talk about this while there are strategies I have identified to help circumvent this. I even found ways to grow a trading account in these conditions.
