Is c++ is to the benefit Interactive Brokers? Here is a valid question from someone on my Shopify store so let me answer this: Hello, While maybe interested in what you have available here i have just a few questions, if you will. I'm not great with coding yet, but know the basics. Getting IB API up and working in c++ , just getting a simple live quote, is proving to be a bit much. Could you help with that? Also when wondering about security and privacy, is c++ a good idea? (windows) Getting quotes into excel with the IB API is easy enough, but uses JAVA and i've been told that java is a bad idea to have on my computer. Also using Visual Studio, now that they send telemetry to Microsoft, is that a good idea? I picture some person with mustard on their shirt stealing my info, and if i'm going to put a lot of time into it, well you know. As for python i wouldn't know. Am i in the right place? Thanks

First Oanda Forex CFD trading analysis with Linux Mint

After moving to Linux with full restore of MotiveWave and Oands settings, here is what I came up with. It seems CAD and CHF are turning into potential safe havens. JPY is dropping off. USD and EUR are taking. It seems both SEK and NOK could be better safe haven, Th gold and silver outlook is mixed depending which currency you follow. As it stands,, it seems bother are facing downward pressure. Also, both UK and USA bonds are becoming picks to hide out in as well. I have finally dumped Windows 10 due to my complaints of forced upgrades and potential security breaches. I moved to Linux Mint which seems to have the least snooping of major Linux distros. I made this video where I talk abhttps://quantlabs.net/questionsout the standard apps/programs I use including ThunderBird, MotiveWave, and standard development tools. The one concern is solid pro grade streaming and video recording software. There is OBS which might be a beast but I guess I have to learn this thing. I decided to use Zoom since it is all things I needs. I will eventually dump Mac as well due to the latest private security concerns I posted on my Facebook profile.
