The price of some staple food groups is expected to rise as load shedding takes its toll on the agricultural sector.
The Agricultural Union, Agri Northern Cape, has also warned that if loadshedding persists, crops will fail and that could lead to food shortages and higher price. As part of the agricultural sector is calling for Eskom to exempt it from loadshedding to avoid a disaster
