Have theoretical physicists really found a portal to the fifth dimension? Maybe not. But brash headlines aside, there still might be something groundbreaking here.

More likely, researchers have discovered the possibility of a new, incredibly heavy quantum particle that could help us better understand dark matter. If we happen to prove the existence of the fifth dimension along the way... so be it!
