So, I guess the question is: Do your giants render you powerless and defeated at every turn? Or do your giants tremble at the mention of the giant killer, Jesus? Remember- everyone and everything has to yield at the name of Jesus! You're invited in to see how David deals with his giant.

Happy Easter! He is risen and we have great reason to celebrate that. Have you ever wondered if God would choose you? I mean who am I, really? There are so many really important people but me? I'm just a nobody, really. The truth of the matter is God has already chosen you! He sees something in you that you probably don't recognize. He searches for a heart of worship, a heart of integrity and humility. God picks the nobody, nobody notices! He loves you and that's why He died for you and rose from the grave for you!

We all experience pain in life—pain that is physical, emotional, spiritual, even financial. Today, we look at a great example of how to treat that pain. Have you ever asked for something specific as a gift and was sure you were gonna receive it? And then comes the day and you receive the gift, only to find out it wasn't what you were hoping for? How did that make you feel? Disappointed, sad, angry? I invite you to take a deeper look, because sometimes we get what we weren't necessarily asking for but something we really needed in our lives. Within a short period after Joshua died, the amazing stories of God's miraculous provisions and protections died also. It didn't happen on purpose, and it didn't happen quickly. It was a slow fade that led to the people of Israel forgetting about their God. We need to keep remembering and teaching these great stories to our children so that we don't forget our amazing God and how He delivers His people like He did with Gideon. Gideon's army was outnumbered 450 to 1. But these are the kind of odds God likes, so that it can't be explained any other way other than God!

How could Joshua along with a marching band and a prostitute, have incredible courage to conquer Jericho? The reason is because Joshua recognized that God was preparing him all along for the battle he would eventually fight. True courage speaks of what has not yet happened as if it already has. Remember that courage is not the absence of fear, but moving forward despite fear. And what it all comes down to is focusing on God's bigness rather than our smallness.

Has it ever dawned on you, that God is more interested in who you are becoming than where you are going? We're all about the destination. Yet, God seems to be all about the journey. Do you whine a lot or do you worship a lot? Because whining is the polar opposite of worship. Choose worship!
