Today I had the opportunity to chat with one of the hardest working men in the Valley, Mr Devon Apodaca.  Devon is the Executive Director of the Humane Society of Imperial County.  If you follow Devon on Facebook you'll know how hard he works and cares for the Valley's dogs and cats and any other animal that comes into the Humane Society.  Make sure you follow the Humane Society of Imperial County on Facebook because they're always having adoption events and spay and neuter events.  I want to thank the Fitness Oasis for letting us record today's episode at their facility!

Today I had the pleasure of chatting with an amazing artist, professor, activist, poet and author Ms Karla Cordero.  Karla is a Calexico native who in a short amount of time has accomplished a lot. She won the Diversity Award for San Diego State University, her book How To Pull Apart the Earth won the 2019 SDSU Book Awards and is a finalist for the 2019 International Book Award.
