Kriss & Phenom review Queen of Katwe. On its surface it seems like another stereotypical "rags to riches"/"White Savior" formula movie. But  it's not. It's so much more and better than any of those tired formula movies and is an emotional, heartbreaking, yet feel-good movie all wrapped into one. This movie has depth and is a great movie for those wanting to see an all black cast and a different take on Hollywood's usual formula. It's one of the best movies of the year even if critics don't recognize it.
