This year, Reflections – Take A Minute becomes more personal. I’m sharing Qur’anic verses that have carried me — especially in moments when I needed mercy more than anything else.
In this reflection, I sit with repentance. With returning. With the truth that no matter how far we feel, Allah’s mercy is always closer. There is no mistake too big, no season too messy, no distance too wide. We are invited back, again and again.
Qur’anic Reflection:
Qur’an 39:53
Hadith (Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim):
“If he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.”
Take a minute today to remember: returning is always possible.

This year, Reflections – Take A Minute becomes more personal. I’m sharing Qur’anic verses that have carried me — especially in seasons where I had to confront worry, uncertainty, and the fear of not having enough.
In this reflection, I sit with Allah as Ar-Razzaq — The Provider. Provision is not only wealth. It is timing. It is peace. It is protection. It is doors opening in ways we did not plan. When anxiety creeps in, this verse reminds me that my sustenance was written long before my fears appeared.
Qur’anic Reflection:
Qur’an 51:58
Take a minute today to remember: what is meant for you will not miss you.

This year, Reflections – Take A Minute becomes more personal. I’ll be sharing Qur’anic verses that have carried me, strengthened me, and reminded me of Allah in moments when I needed it most.
In this first reflection, I sit with the comfort and accountability of knowing that Allah sees us — in our effort, in our quiet struggles, and even in the parts of our lives no one else witnesses. A gentle reminder that we are never alone, never unseen, and never outside His awareness.
Qur’anic Reflection:
Qur’an 57:4
Take a minute today to pause with this reminder.

On this episode of Random Musings, I reflect on the importance of standing for something, having values, knowing what you believe in, and being rooted in them.
I talk about taking the year to intentionally discover the values you hold dear, the ones you are not easily moved from, and how those values quietly shape your choices, boundaries, and sense of self.
This is a gentle invitation to pause, reflect, and ask yourself what truly anchors you.
For the 48th episode of Bants With, I spoke with Bridget Ibuchim-Owabie, founder of Biobranding Academy, to talk about women, visibility, and career growth.
We explore why so many talented women remain unnoticed, why participating online can seem challenging, and what personal branding truly should be without the pressure.
Bridget shares practical insights on building professional authority, positioning yourself for growth without waiting to be noticed, and the shifts women should pay attention to as we move into 2026.
This is a grounded conversation for women who are ready to own their voice and be more intentional about their careers.

2025 was a year of highs and bumps, of romanticising life and learning from the stumbles, but one thing is certain: it was unforgettable. I discovered a little more about myself and started staying grounded in my ways and the work I love.
For the podcast, we published 51 episodes, crossed 100k listens, and through it all, YOU were here, standing by and supporting every step. I am deeply grateful.
May 2026 be a year of growth creatively, financially, and spiritually. Dear Rockstar, own this year like it’s yours, because it absolutely can be.
There’s been a lot of conversation online about insecurity in Nigeria, with some people framing it as a Christian genocide or a Muslims-versus-Christians issue. While there’s no denying that insecurity is completely out of control, I don’t think it’s honest to reduce something this complex to a religious war.
On this episode of random musings, I talk about why, as a Muslim, I refuse to carry shame for so-called “Islamic” terrorists or bandits. Anyone willing to read, learn, or even lightly understand Islam will see that what’s happening has nothing to do with the religion itself.
This is not Islam. And because of that, it’s not my shame — or any Muslim’s shame — to carry.
On this episode of random musings, I talk about the Danish deception story that was all over TikTok. I kept seeing people confidently say things like, “I could never be scammed” or “that would never happen to me,” and it got me thinking.
The truth is, scams are not one-size-fits-all. Just because one type wouldn’t work on you doesn’t mean another one couldn’t.
And most importantly, shaming victims who have to come to share their pain and experience is not exactly the way to go because it just gives the people who commit these crimes the cover to keep doing these evil things.

In this episode, I talk about why that “it can never be me” mindset is unrealistic, how judgment shows up online, and why a little humility goes a long way when we’re talking about people’s experiences.
Another round trip around the sun has been completed, and my favourite day of the year is finally here. #Year32 was a season of unlearning, shedding, breaking old patterns, and quietly rebuilding myself from the inside out. It pushed me to release identities that no longer fit and return to the One who has always carried me — the Creator who writes the script long before I step into the scene.
#Year32 taught me that joy is something I can reclaim, not something I have to earn. It taught me that peace is not a location — it is a decision. And it reminded me that survival is not the goal anymore… living fully is.
As #Year33 begins, I am choosing softness with strength, clearer boundaries, and a deeper trust in Almighty Allah. Whatever the future holds, I walk into it with steadiness, gratitude, and the quiet confidence of someone who has gone through fire and came out whole. Ameen.
In this episode, I share the truths, lessons, and little miracles that helped me rewrite myself this year. I hope something in it touches you, affirms you, or permits you to choose joy again.
Thank you in advance for the prayers, the wishes, and the love. And if you feel generous… the gifts too.
Adulting can feel overwhelming sometimes, but lately I’ve been reflecting on the little joys that come with it, too. In this episode of Random Musings, I share some of the upsides I’ve noticed, such as the communities we get to build, the autonomy to make our own choices, and the freedom to spend our money the way we want.
What about you? Have you discovered any good sides to adulting? I’d love to hear your thoughts. Share them with me on Twitter: @queenraffyspacepodcast
