Queens Comic Podcast

The Queens Comic Podcast is sixty - how did that happen?

All right now!

In our sleepiest episode yet, two tired guys talk about comics. Ian shows off a few rad books he got on a field trip with some friends to Brickhouse Comics in Connecticut, as well as some new issue pick ups and some cool E.C.-related fanzines while Billy shows off his latest pick ups and then goes off on some inspired rants before sharing his thoughts on Superman. RIP Ozzy!

The Queens Comic Podcast is back, with our fifty-ninth episode!

Despite the horrible heat wave and technical difficulties, Billy (who is sitting in the dark but not in a cave, honest!) and Ian trudge through their recent pick ups, ranging from some vintage underground smut to silver age keys to wonky Charlton horror books and even some Superman! It's all the wacky, unscripted banter and keen observation and intellect you've come to expect from the Queens Comic Podcast - hey hey, let's go!

Three weeks in a row? What's going on here!

This time around, it's something different! Billy's got a stack of books and he doesn't know if he should keep them or sell them off. Ian gives him bad advice, and then shows off his pick ups for the week (spoiler alert - there's a lot of Mister X and maybe some Nancy and Sluggo too).

We're late, and this time, extra bitchy!

OLD MEN YELL AT CLOUDS!

This time around, after Ian went to Texas with Europeans and Billy went to Philly and hung out with Christopher Lloyd, they go over Ian's experiences at CradleCon in long Island, the recent Wayne, NJ show and a bunch of pick ups. Billy talks about his experiences at a few local card shows, and what went right and what didn't.

Better late than never, right?

The Queens Comic Podcast is back! This time there's lots of talk about the season finale of Daredevil: Born Again, Superman Day 2025 and the recent R. Crumb/Dan Nadel talk that happened in New York City. All this and plenty of oddball pick-ups, mainstream pick-ups and all of the (generally good natured) comic book banter you've come to expect.
