To coincide with a nation wide initiative launched by the Adelaide Film Festival, the Out Takes crew celebrated the top, queer Australian films that #YouMustSee.

The #YouMustSee campaign calls on audiences to celebrate their favorite Australian films in support of the #MakeItAustralian campaign, which highlights the importance of a sustainable national screen industry.

Our guest was Adelaide Film Festival director, Amanda Duthie. We spoke with Duthie about the #YouMustSee campaign and the importance of autonomous and successful local films.

We looked at some of our top #YouMustSee films, as well as some queer Australian forgotten gems, which highlight the importance of local queer representation on the big screen.
