Alexis Caught is an award-winning podcaster, writer, rugby player, and all-around powerhouse. In January 2022, Alexis released the uplifting book "Queer Up," designed to empower LGBTQ+ teens on their journey of self-discovery in the modern age.
On top of all this, Caught is also an activist, speaker, psychotherapist, and passionate advocate for positive mental health. On the surface he is the epitome of success, using his platform to inspire others to ignite positive change, however, in this conversation he opens up about his early struggles as an effeminate young boy in a close-minded community.
Throughout our discussion we talk about the mental health struggles LGBTQ+ folk are more likely to face, how to deal with chronic minority stress syndrome and touch on sex and consent within the community.

Welcome to the brand new Queer Love Stories! A podcast where we dive into the real stories of love, relationships, and empowerment within the LGBTQ+.
Picture this: TV, film, and media consistently portraying queer romance in shades of either promiscuity, pain, or shame.
Growing up gay in the nineties, under the shadow of Section 28, I never thought love was in my future. The lack of role models or positive stories led me to suppress my sexuality until my late twenties.
But today, we're rewriting that narrative. Welcome to "Queer Love Stories," a podcast born out of the need for authentic representation and positive inspiration. I'm your host, Eden, and I'm here to create a platform where members of the LGBTQ+ community can share their stories of love, empowerment, and meaningful connections.
"Queer Love Stories" is more than just a podcast – it's a celebration of love in all its forms. We're breaking free from the confines of outdated stereotypes and shining a light on the positivity that surrounds us.
So, what can you expect? Well, buckle up for an exhilarating ride through tales of navigating sexuality, gender identity and relationships. We'll discuss romantic connections that make your heart skip a beat, the unbreakable bonds of friendship, the warmth of a supportive community, and of course, the essential journey of self-love.
We're flipping the script on queer representation, challenging the norm, and amplifying the voices that deserve to be heard. So hit the follow button, and let's celebrate the love that defines us.
