Queer Retrograde

Join co-host fritz (any pronouns) along their journey with Julia Cameron's multi-million copy worldwide bestseller "The Artist's Way."

Week one exposed fritz's inner critic and the "blurts" that maintain a critical inner dialogue, while starting the routine weekly exercises of morning pages and artist dates.

Queer Retrograde is a Cazimi Collective podcast co-hosted by hobbes baya and fritz barbee. Cazimi Collective is an arts, farm and rest retreat for exceptional, but strategically under-resourced communities. Learn more about Cazimi Collective.

what a beautiful thing to witness: not once but twice visited by New Orlean's finest Krystle Cameron (she/her) :D she took a chance on our very first public retreat of 2025 and closed it out with us as Official Alumni at BOTH offerings geared towards BIPOC land stewards--I can't make this shit up! as Cazimi takes shape, nothing's more exciting than the gesture of collaboration, the YES of attending more than once as a sign of self commitment. we held this convo the last night of her visit to make note of all of what's brought her back for seconds~

our very own chosen fam Elena (she/her) and Cazimi Collective member sat down with us to dial in her philosophy of particularities! aka we was chattin' we was vibin we was painting a broader picture of what it means to be a part of the Cazimi team on and off the field :) she always arrives with full throttle compassion and we couldn't be happier to chop it up!!
