Queer Sounds

First episode of Queer Sounds for RPS-2

Capitalist extravaganza, whitewashed narcissism festival or celebration of solidarity for the LGBTQ+ community? However you feel about Pride month, this selection of the hottest hits will help you gird your loins for the madness. Diverse tracks this month from Manila Luzon & Cazwell, Ssion, Tyler, the creator, Madonna (yes Madonna) and Dai Burger among others.

With Pride month upon us, we celebrate inclusivity and solidarity with bold new music from LGBTQ+ artists and some straight allies too.

Top tips for PS19 with the edgiest LGBTQ+ artists at this year’s festival in Barcelona, plus chat about CAMP aesthetics in music post Met Gala and the Venice Bienale opening. Hot and heavy petting from Yaeji, Chicks on Speed, Tirzah, Ian Isiah, Kate Tempest, PUTOCHINOMARICON, Shodie Kane, SOPHIE and more!

How's your head? No complaints? Wake up with host Adam Kershaw for soothing sounds and aural ibuprofen for the morning after the night before, with tracks from Meredith Monk, Frank Ocean, Avalon Emerson, Roberta Flack, Deena Abdelwahed and many more.
