Welcome at long last to season 3 episode 9 of the Queers At Play podcast where we give our thoughts on the Mario Wonder and September Nintendo Directs, plus the PlayStation State of Play. Finally in Game Pass Gamble Reuben gives his thoughts on Prodeus and Marc choses his next game!
It's finally time for the Queers At Play to reveal their games of the year for 2022. Reuben, Graham and Marc each discuss their top 4 games of the previous year. With JRPGs, Pokemon, pirates and AAA big hitters it's all here!
Not content with releasing just 1 episode today, we've got a second for you. This time we give our live thoughts on the Mario Movie trailer, discuss what was then a brand new Pokemon Scarlet/Violet trailer and Valve announce the Steam Deck was now available for general purchase. Over in Game Pass Gamble we hear just what Graham thought of the Paw Patrol game and Reuben gets to make the gamble.
It might be a couple of months late but this is a huuuuuge episode. First up was the PlayStation State of Play, where Sony showed off some PSVR2 goodness, Tekken 8 and a God of War Ragnarok story trailer. Following on from that is the massive September 2022 Nintendo Direct, where Nintendo finally lifted the lid on the title of the Breath of the Wild follow up called Tears of the Kingdom, Miyamoto re-explained Pikmin Bloom for some reason, Fire Emblem Engage got announced (releasing very soon now!), 43 farming simulators got shown, Octopath Traveler 2 was announced AND GoldenEye is coming to Switch Online. Phew!! Finally in Game Pass Gamble Marc reveals his thoughts on the frankly baffling SkateBird and Graham makes his next pick.
Episode 6 of Queers At Play is here and with Gamescom opening night live there's a lot to cover, including a customary Geoff Keighley rant from Reuben, the PS5 price increase and a new Voice of Cards game announcement. Over in Game Pass Gamble Reuben clears up his thoughts on PowerWash simulator and Marc makes his second choice, but does he take the gamble?
Another Queers At Play episode and another Nintendo Direct, this time focussing squarely on Splatoon 3, plus we talk about the THQ Nordic Showcase and a real grab bag of other gaming announcements. Finally we find out if Graham got stuck in the mud with The Gunk and Reuben's under pressure to choose his Game Pass Gamble title.
Welcome to episode 4 of season 3 of Queers At Play, in this episode we discuss the recent Pokémon Presents presentation with all the latest details on Scarlet and Violet, some new PSVR2 details and the release of Mario Kart's second wave of extra tracks. Plus Marc's at Death's Door with his thoughts on his Game Pass Gamble choice and Graham gets stuck in making his second pick!
Instead of a Direct presentation Nintendo decided to have a big news week so of course the Queers At Play discuss everything announced. Plus we talk about the ridiculous NFT console Polium One, the Genesis Mini 2 and God of War Ragnarok's release date announcement. Finally in Game Pass Gamble Reuben tells us what he thought of Prey and Marc makes his first gamble.
The Queers At Play are back with episode 2 and their thoughts on Nintendo's recent Direct Mini Partner Edition, the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Direct and Final Fantasy XVI's new doggo companion. Plus we get Graham's thoughts on Flynn: Son of Crimson and Reuben is the latest victim to fall prey to Game Pass Gamble.
The wait is finally over as the Queers At Play return for season 3 with new regular host Graham, our brand new feature Game Pass Gamble and, in this episode, we give our thoughts on the many events sucked into Geoff Keighley's summer ego show.
