Kovacs survives his fall, thankfully to survival mode tech built into his sleeve. Danica and Carrera/Jaeger face off, with Danica ultimately having him arrested for double sleeving Kovacs.  Kovacs prime learns more about Quells and his sister Rei through holographic captures of the past. Eventually a talk with Kovacs revealing Rei wanted to die persuades Kovacs prime to abandon his loyalties. The truth about Kemp’s deception is revealed, however Danica has him shot down before he could repeat his claim that he worked for her. Quells taps into a new power that saves their lives.
