Trusting in God's sovereign plan for us will lead us into his blessing.

We often think of altars as places of tearful repentance or big decisions. Sure, they can be, but altars are also places of monumental celebration. God wants us to celebrate well and has a profound purpose in us learning to celebrate well!

God isn't always doing what we think He is doing. Oftentimes, through our failures or the failures of those close to us, God is provoking us to a freedom and a love that is almost unspeakably great. Join us as we examine the Altar of Culture and Love.

A dream of a promising future can be exhilerating...or full of pressure, even disillusionment when a dream is slow in coming or looks different than we hoped.  God wants to free us from that pressure and God loves to fulfill dreams!  He often does that by bringing us to altars where we encounter God and make choices that determine the course of our lives.

Ever feel like you want a do-over or a new beginning? God loves to bring us to those places of new beginnings. But in those new beginning moments, we generally need to go through an altar experience where we learn how to respond to God and walk into all the good He is bringing our way.

We close the series looking at the focal point of what empowers us to live well and the amazing change in attitude and motivation that results. In it, we see John mirroring Jesus' last words to he and the other disciples nearly 60 years earlier. Words that have defined John's way of living and life and now John wants those words to define every Christian's life.

An exploration into our love of the Father, and how our idols keep us from Him.

We are always striving for love, enjoying love, but in some ways, always falling short of complete love. How is love made complete? John, Jesus' best friend, teaches us how to help love grow and become more and more complete.

To be childlike is to be humble.  But what does humility mean?  Too often it is associated with feeling bad, self-deprecation and lots of other negative images.  Even though we admire people who are honest with their failures, we don't want to be that person.  But what does John, after experiencing Jesus, define humility as?  Humility is the basis of living a confident life.

John shows us, as a 90 year old leader of leaders, that part of living a fearLESS Life is found in learning to have the heart orientation of a child. To examine what this means we go back to an experience that profoundly impacted John and all of the disciples over a half century earlier with Jesus. In it we discover joy, love and the freedom to live life with great expectation.
