So I have got a spare few hours this weekend and can't resist to get the surface rod out and try and catch my self a lump off the top.

I have really been looking forward to this trip. I fished this venue may be about 4 years ago but was a complete wash out due to loads of rain which made most parts unfishable and a crazy flow on the river. But im goong back so come have a listen to see if I can beat my PB Barbel and Chub

So back out again surface fishing for carp after my last trip of having 20 out. So I have decided to try some of the other lakes on the complex and if the magic is noy happening I can also jump onto Atkins lake. Happy to say that Alex is joining me again so it's going to be a great sesh.

Just cant enough of this surface fishing at the moment. It is clearly putting more carp on the bank than other carp anglers sitting behind there bottom baits.

Back out surface fishing with a few changes made in a mission to master this art of fishing.
