What were your thoughts on SummerSlam 1996?  Re-watching was fun because 1996 was the beginning of my fandom.  WCW was taking over around this time, but some of my favorite wrestlers were in WWE.  Another episode recapping from a 30+ year old perspective.

Well we start this PPV with learning the passing of Brian Pillman, and end this with the first ever Hell In A Cell Match, with the debut of Kane!!! Lot to take in.  Definitely one of the better WWF PPVs during the Monday Night War era.  

Were you surprised by the releases that happened this year?  We were.. I mean cmon Braun, Aleister, Joe, Lana?!?!  Where do you think they end up?
