I heard this was the book that, tried its darn-est to explain Darwinian evolution.
It starts at with the given: Man was and ape, not like the apes you see, this one evolved... He is different in biology, behavior, and intellect, but he was an ape, OK, OK!... Now lets see how that happened and fill in the grand canyon of proof needed for macro evolution. Sometimes just making assumptions about behavior because we do not match.
Oh and the chapter on Sexuality is like some weird fan fiction of a science nerd explaining sex is such a cringe way. I could not get through it. You will wonder if it was necessary to explain our imaginary ancestors exploring sex and their body sensations as a... scientist?.
