This is probably the worst movie we've reviewed yet (yes, even worse than Horse Girl and I Lost My Body). DON'T WATCH IT and just listen to this short podcast instead.
This week we provide both a spoiler-free and a spoiler-filled review of the new remake of The Invisible Man, easily one of the best movies of 2020 so far.
Hogan and Daniel discuss the new Netflix movie and the interesting questions it raises.
It's a double dose of Seth Rogan in this quirky dramedy. Should you watch it? We have the answer.
Our long COVID hiatus ends with Hogan and Daniel back in their element talking about the VERY strange, and excellent, new entry to the Charlie Kaufman canon.
A while back the YouTube channel Wisecrack did a video on the Good, the Bad, and the Brilliant of BoJack season 6. Hogan and I found this video sorely lacking and so we did our own. It's not exactly our usual MO, but we think you'll like it.
We started thinking we would talk about Portrait of a Lady on Fire and Parasite, but had too much to say about the first one and so saved Parasite for another week. We go pretty deep and thorough into this brilliant French movie, streaming now on Hulu.
We're back! The world shutdown put us on unexpected hiatus for a few weeks, but we're back and talking about an excellent Spanish horror movie, The Platform. It's on Netflix and it's perfect for these weird and uncertain times.
This week we talk about The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez, Don't F*** with Cats, and other Netflix documentaries. We also talk about why you should watch documentaries and what responsibility we have to the content. (Content is a little more mature this week by nature of the material covered).
This week we take on an EXCELLENT movie from a couple years ago that you probably haven't seen (and definitely should). And to celebrate Black History Month we name-drop a lot of great black art and talk about the importance of being racially aware and giving non-white art a chance.
