On this Teach Me Something Tuesday of the Healthcare Education Transformation podcast, Dr. Feil shares a simple yet effective technique for end-of-class review. He suggests taking five minutes at the end of each class to have students summarize the ideas presented, solve sample problems, or apply the information to new situations. This can be done through written responses on index cards or by having students share their thoughts verbally. Dr. Feil also recommends asking students to identify one thing they learned and one thing that confused them during the class. This helps both the instructor and the students reflect on the material and identify areas that need further review.

Key Takeaways:

- Implement an end-of-class review session to summarize key ideas and assess understanding.

- Have students write or verbally share one thing they learned and one thing that confused them.

- Use this feedback to identify areas that need further review and improve teaching effectiveness.
