Today we are going to continue our conversation about the Boston Massacre and talk about one of the men who died during this event. His name is Crispus Attucks, an African American and Native American descendant, often considered the first victim of the massacre. Unfortunately not a lot is known about Crispus Attucks at this time. However, he is an important figure in American history and someone that is important for us to acknowledge and learn about.

Today we're going to be doing a quick overview of what happened at the Boston Massacre to help support our learning tomorrow in class. Many of you have probably heard of the Boston Massacre and probably know a little bit of this background knowledge. In class tomorrow we'll talk a little bit more about what this anti-British sentiment led to and how the Boston Massacre further affected the beginning of the American Revolution.

Hello! Welcome to today’s episode of our quick history podcasts, where we will be discussing the accomplishments of Elizabeth Schyuler Hamilton. The smash hit Broadway play, “Hamilton”, by Lin-Manuel Miranda, recently resurfaced in popularity after being released to the streaming app, Disney+, this June. The play about America’s founding fathers has the world asking questions about America’s founding mothers.

This podcast was written by student Gracie Moore. Gracie utilized this assignment to prepare, with the help of the teacher, a podcast about a person that she is passionate about learning about. This is part of a student-teacher co-teaching model, which utilized student co-teaching methods that support greater learning for the student and their peers. Typically the student would also record the podcast, however, she was unable to due to time constraints.
