The long-awaited remake for one of the most beloved Video Games of all time is finally here. Final Fantasy VII Remake is an ambitious and exciting game that doesn't just remake an old game but attempts to go beyond what a remake is. While it has its fair share of issues, it's fun and tactical combat, expanded scope and cinematic visuals brings Midgar to life.
About the Episode
This episode is entirely a review for 2020's Final Fantasy VII Remake. Initially teased in Son'y 2015 E3 Conference, it changed developers over the course of development and split into multiple games. Remake only covers the initial chapters that took place in Midgar, and was originally around 5 hours long. Final Fantasy VII Remake is 40 hours long.
