Quicksave

We've survived THE CYBER FIVE (blech) and have exciting news to share about new menu items from your favorite Quick Service Restaurant! Scott shares his thoughts about Counterplay Games' Godfall in a brand new "segment," and talks about his journey through Assassin's Creed Odyssey (yes, the previous release). Evan has a lot to say about Immortals: Fenyx Rising and why it might be the best choice among Ubi's releases this season, and he reveals a new twist in the saga of his seemingly cursed gaming PC before the quick weekly check-in on Hades. Also Cyberpunk is looming on the horizon waiting to consume everything else, so uh, enjoy your other games while they last.

Discussed:

Godfall (26:27)

Assassin's Creed Odyssey (34:10)

Assassin's Creed Valhalla (51:30)

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War (58:55)

Immortals: Fenyx Rising (1:01:51)

Hades (1:31:57)

This week, Evan talks about diving headfirst into Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Yakuza 0 at the same time, and Scott gives us the rundown on the PlayStation 5 and what it’s like to come back to PlayStation after several years away (assuming you can get your hands on one).

Games Discussed:

* Yakuza: Like a Dragon

* Yakuza 0

* The Pathless

* Hades

* Empire of Sin

* Project Wingman

* Astro’s Playroom

* Marvel’s Spiderman: Remastered

* Days Gone

Welcome to the first episode of Quicksave, Saving Content’s brand new weekly podcast!

Show Notes: Scott and Evan talk about the games they’ve been playing over the past several weeks, mixing new, recent, and even old releases alike. It turns out that Falconeer and Paradise Killer are really cool, but XIII probably should have stayed back in 2003. Unsurprisingly, Hades continues to be excellent, though perhaps in some surprising ways.

There’s also some discussion about the love/hate relationship both of them have with Ghostrunner, Evan talks about what life is like with an Ampere GPU from Nvidia and Scott flexes (cautiously) about his recent PlayStation 5 acquisition.

Games discussed:

* Falconeer

* Rune II

* XIII

* American Truck Simulator – Colorado

* Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

* Paradise Killer

* Oddworld: New n’ Tasty

* Resident Evil 7

* Hades

* Ghostrunner
