Lissarette Nisnevich was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. Growing up in poverty and with little resources she focused on her studies from a young age. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in developmental psychology and with a Masters in early childhood education. With this, she aims to bring parents resources she believes are critical for their children's development.
After living in 30 different countries, she decided to settle down and start a family of her own. With the birth of her son, the idea of starting her own Daycare, Preschool and Kindergarten was born as well. Her aspirations are to help the future generations reach their maximum potential, as she began by servicing the "El Barrio" community that’s given her so much. With the Daycare, Preschool, Kindergarten, Children Books, and several TEDx talks already in circulation..her mission has just begun.

Armando "Tito" Tam has spent his life achieving his personal and professional goals using what he calls the "Achieving Dopeness" mindset.
Armando, of Chinese Nicaraguan heritage, immigrated to United States at a young age. He watched his mother and father sacrifice and work tirelessly to ensure their 3 sons were given an opportunity for a better quality of life. Armando credits his mother and father for instilling in him at a young age, the values of God, humility, and hard work - no free handouts. Armando's parents sparked in him the idea that it is OK to dream big as long as you understand the dedication and commitment needed to make your dreams come true.
Armando's passions have always centered around business and cultural identity. His relentless pursuit of his dreams have allowed him to own his own real estate brokerage firm, perform with Will Smith, collaborate with celebrity chefs like Douglas Rodriguez, become a part of the leadership at the National Association Of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals(NAHREP) as well as partner in other joint ventures such as L'attitude.
Armando is currently working on launching Comidazo, a business platform showcasing his love and passion for food & wine, culture and business.
Armando credits his value of mentorship and unwillingness to compromise his goals as the primary drivers of his success.

ANGELA ABREU - FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR OF DWA
Angela "Angy" Abreu is a Dominican-American mom, writer and community organizer. Angy firmly believes that “if it does not exist then you must create it.” In 2015, feeling dismissed as a Dominican American writer in many literary spaces, she decided to create the Dominican Writers Association a 501 c3 non-profit organization solely dedicated to highlighting content that not only promotes the works of Dominican Writers but also provides them with the tools and resources necessary for their development. Angy is the Creative Director of Dominican Writers, and along with the Board, she manages and creates content that serves the Dominican Writers community.
In the Spring of 2019 Angy and the Dominican Writers Association organized the First Annual Dominican Writers Conference in honor of Josefina Baez, a one-day event that offered 15 writing workshops and 13 discussion panels.

Lizette’s love of all things “culture” comes from being a born-and-raised New Yorker (and proud “Afro-Latina.”). At home, Lizette is a proud mother of two children who keep her filled with laughter and purpose. At work, she has a long list of accomplishments that I would need the whole episode to list. For now, I’ll highlight a few.
Currently, Lizette serves as the Global Head of Vertical Solutions Marketing at Facebook where she leads a global marketing team tasked with developing the business marketing strategy and approach across 7 industries including Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, Gaming, and eCommerce. This combination of platform and digital work allows her to continue to drive cultural relevance and impact on a broader scale. She has consistently remained at the cutting-edge of driving innovative approaches that bring brand, culture and tech together.
