War between the United States, Israel, and Iran is no longer a possibility. It is happening. In this video, I move past American political reactions and speak directly with Iranian Canadians who have family living under the Islamic Republic.

You will hear how members of the Persian community in North and West Vancouver are processing the reality of war. Some see this moment as a long awaited chance to end 46 years of repression. They are not celebrating bombs, but they believe any disruption could finally weaken a regime that has controlled their lives for generations.

Others are deeply skeptical. They point to the 1953 CIA backed coup, the failures in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the risk of repeating history. They question whether foreign intervention can truly produce democracy or whether it will bring more instability and suffering.
