In the recent article that the CNBC published April of this year showed that while many may think of women as the weaker sex when it comes to investing, female investors actually capture stronger rates of return than their male counterparts. Women outperform men by 40 basis points, or 0.4%, on average, according to Fidelity's 2021 Women and Investing Study.

Sia is a real estate investor. She empowers others to achieve financial independence through education and connections.

She's a girl after my own heart, Sia started her journey in real estate, investing alongside her husband in 2005 while she was working as a math teacher. So she's really smart, everybody. 10 years later, she left the security of her W-2 and became a full-time real estate investor Sia's experience includes house hacking her first property.

We have that in common flipping eight properties and buying and self managing multiple properties to hold long term. Her portfolio also consists of a 16 unit asset. That's acquired through a JV partnership. Sia is a principal at Arrowhead Capital, which is a real estate firm that acquires multifamily assets in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast she and her husband are committed to providing investment partners with excellent opportunities, which allow them to passively create generational wealth and enhance the apartment communities of the residents.
