In this episode, I dive deep into the mental side of managing food noise during a calorie deficit and share how my current approach to cutting is radically different from the aggressive—and unsustainable—cut I did back in 2023. I unpack the psychology behind food elimination and how creating scarcity around certain foods can lead to a loss of control. Instead, I focus on working with your body, not against it, and emphasize the importance of listening to your hunger cues while making intentional sacrifices for your goals.

I also explore how spiritual fasting helped me become more comfortable with skipping meals or even going a day or two without food, and how that practice has shaped my mindset around nourishment and discipline.
