Okay, so I'm pretty sure this is the last followup installment of my Gifted Child Syndrome/Model Child series, but.... In this episode, I wanted to cover what it's like to spend most of your childhood as a pseudo-adult and having to scramble to pick up the pieces in your adult years. There's a super crazy disconnect of how to care for yourself and manage your own responsibilities or even how to just relax and figure out who you are as a person and what you like when you spent a great deal of your upbringing being the emotional (and sometimes physical) caregiver for members in your family. Relax while I unpack my thoughts and share my insights on trying to juggle "sponserberleries" and still trying to grow up as an adult.

As we navigate the intricacies and complexities of being hurt, take time to think about the ways you've been hurt and the ways you may have hurt others. Also while you're acknowledging your pain, remember to be gentle with yourself and try not to fault yourself for things that you didn't know. As always, this is a healthy, judgement free space where we get real with ourselves and the things we go through, making sure we exercise love and compassion as we grow through our traumas.
