Jesus told His disciples, and you, to get in the boat and quit making excuses (Matt. 8:21-22). You need to know the Bible to get God’s direction for your life. The Lord instructs you to do something very simple—obey Him. But you can’t obey what you don’t know, and you will never know what God has for you without learning the Scripture. “We have this treasure in our earthly vessels so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be from God and not from ourselves“ (2 Cor 4:7). God’s provisions are found in the Bible. They will help you if you learn them, use them, and operate on faith.
