This eppisode is based on circumstances from a friend of my wife's. They feel they are being overprotected and controlled by their parent. And their parent won't let go. As parents of disabled children, it is often very hard to let them go. But, as a parent of an adult child, all you can do is come alongside and give guidance if and when they ask for it. And same goes for helping them.
