We all lie. Sometimes we lie to spare someone's feelings, or to get through the day at work. Other times we lie to protect ourselves from consequences we don't want to face. It can be in fun, out of fear, out of carelessness, or disregard. It's a many layered beast, and we really probe into the depths of (some) of our lying ways. In the end though, we both agree that orange lies are the most rotten of all lies, honestly.

Exes have helped us become who we are: (un)able to trust, learning to love, and learning to say goodbye (and sometimes hello, again!). It's hard to make friends as an adult, and making friends as a grown ass queer offers its own challenges. We touch on some of the issues we've encountered as the Qweirdos we are, things like: navigating our paranoia around straight ladies, easy outs on a friendship, and establishing whether it is a friendship or a romance. We realize this issue is SO BIG that we're kind of all over the place with it and going to have to revisit it again and again and again...as if we are Bill Murray in Groundhog Day (one of the most important days of the year, btw, and it just happened. Ugh, GUG...growing up gay...we did it, and so can you! LOL. Seriously though, growing up gay is full of awkward moments, being afraid of kissing your friends, and finding your place. It's a complicated and crazy thing when you grew up in the 1900s. God we are SOOO old.
