By all accounts, Psukei D'Zimra begins with Boruch She'amar. But wait! We added the 30th Chapter of Psalms (Tehillim to begin it. Why? What's the symbolism?
The P'sukei D'Zimra the prelude to Krias Shma and Shmoneh Esrei, plays a major role in the symphony of Prayer. Out of the hundreds of Psalms in Tehillim, why were certain ones chosen? What do they mean? What is the importance of Ashrei? Why is Mizmor Shir before Boruch SHeamar? What can we skip if we are late? In 3 minute segments, I hope to explore the fascinating depth of the pesukei D'Zimra. Take 3 minutes to begin the journey.

Although the Shulchan Aruch mentions that it is good to say the AKeida, the Story of the Manna and the 10 Commandments. Two of them are missing from most Siddurim.

Let us explore these supplications. We don't really find the last two in the siddur.
