Even though the Three Weeks are a painful period of mourning they carry a positive message. Why did it take exactly three weeks from the breach to the the Destruction? Why did the siege take exactly three years? Why did the wealthy of Yerushalaim have exactly enough goods to support the entire Nation for twenty one years? We also discuss the fact that some of our thoughts aren’t really our own.

We offer a possible reconciliation to the dispute. We also address some ancillary questions about the resurrection such how will we be resurrected, healthy or unhealthy? This class was given on 8-12-03 in Aish HaTorah Scottsdale which is no longer operational.

**Throwback Episode** This was a lecture given on the cusps of a Space Shuttle Mission involving Colonel Ilan Remon which tragically disjoined on re-entry into the atmosphere. The lecture was given on New Year Day, 2003. We delineate the details of what is entailed in keeping Shabbos on the Space Shuttle while it’s orbiting Earth according to Rabbi J. David Bleich who postulates the scenario according to Rabbi Moshe Feinstein. Unfortunately, only about half the class was recorded.

We discuss the idea that our existence is stratified. Our consciousness is aware of multi-tiered vicissitudes of circumstances. Therefore, we have a responsibility to serve Hashem on all levels. Our outward behaviors may not be a good gauge of our inner machinations.
