He came, He saw, He conquered and then He left. It can leave you a little despondent until you begin to understand why. We explore that question of why he left before we jump into the next chapter of Acts.

This short story, told by John Oswalt, BiblicalTraining.org (Isaiah Study), has resonated with me. I've included the original telling at the end of this commentary because nobody can tell the story the way Dr. Oswalt does.
