Fi: Lapin talvinen taivas oli tummansininen, ja revontulet loistivat kirkkaasti kuin tanssivat henget.
En: The winter sky in Lapin was dark blue, and the northern lights shone brightly like dancing spirits.

Fi: Aino seisoi tykkylumisten kuusien vieressä, katsellen laajaa valkeaa maisemaa.
En: Aino stood next to the snow-laden fir trees, gazing at the vast white landscape.
