It's a bumper episode this week for a bumper Grand Prix weekend. After one of the busiest weeks of F1 news in recent memory, the Sakhir circuit brought another round of incredible drama in it's alternative sub-60 second layout. F1 have announced the longest F1 season in history for 2021, a huge 23 race calendar that features several new locations for the sport. Treacherous conditions at the Istanbul Park Circuit, compounded by its resurfacing shortly before the race weekend, saw a Grand Prix filled with drama from FP1 to the chequered flag. An unlikely Canadian (not called Villeneuve) took pole for the first time ever before lights out in one of the most thrilling races of the season.
