The Global Sumud Flotilla, which is made up of more than 40 civilian boats carrying around 500 people, is now less than 100 nautical miles away from the Gaza Strip. Increased reports of intimidation from Israel come as the fleet attempts to break the siege and deliver humanitarian aid to the Palestinians who are being targeted by Israel in a genocide.

Patrick Henningsen, Journalist, Geopolitical Analyst and Host of the 21st Century Wire, noted that Israel’s intimidation and threats have not deterred the flotilla members, and all eyes should be on both what Israel is doing and how the 44 governments representing the civilians on these boats respond to Israeli interference in the legal efforts to deliver aid.

Israeli PM Netanyahu made his fourth visit to the White House in just eight months, where he met with Trump and the two war criminals laid out their latest plan for Gaza. But while it is being described as a “ceasefire” and even a “peace” plan, it serves Israel’s interests and would stand to continue the genocide.

Scott Ritter, former UN Weapons Inspector and US Marine Corps Intelligence Officer, noted that Trump is engaging in a massive con, where he claims to want to peace, but then pursues more endless war. And that threat could soon become a nuclear one, as the last remaining nuclear treat between the U.S. and Russia is set to expire in February 2026, and the Trump Admin is acting like it couldn’t care less.

The UN has reimposed sanctions on Iran and moved to freeze Iranian assets abroad as part of a “snapback” mechanism from the 2015 nuclear deal triggered by France, Germany and the UK. But while the West is complaining that Iran won’t allow international inspectors at its nuclear facilities, after the country was attacked by the U.S. and Israel back in June, Tehran has emphasized that it sees the reintroduction of these sanctions as a hostile action.

Dr. Foad Izadi, an author and associate professor in the Department of American Studies at the University of Tehran, noted that while another attack from the U.S. and Israel is expected, Iran has to make sure that its response imposes such a severe cost on its attackers that it discourages them from continuing to wage war against Iran.

Reports in the West say that European officials are privately warning Moscow that NATO is ready and willing to shoot down Russian jets, following multiple allegations of airspace violations in recent weeks. But Russia has maintained that it has no targets in Poland, Romania or Estonia, and has repeatedly requested evidence of the alleged incursions.

International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda noted that NATO is beating the war drums for a potential false flag attack aimed at increasing direct war with Russia. And while Trump is acting as if he’s handing off the war in Ukraine to the EU (and is confident in their US-fueled capabilities), Russia is paying attention to what NATO is actually doing, not just what Trump is posting on social media.

Nearly two dozen people were reported wounded after a drone from Yemen struck the southern Israeli city of Eilat on Wednesday, as Ansar Allah continues its attacks in support of Palestine.

This, as the Italian Navy confirmed that is it sending a warship to accompany the Gaza-bound Global Sumud Flotilla, which has been targeted by Israel with drone attacks and communication interference.

Laith Marouf, Journalist and Executive Director of Free Palestine TV, noted that Israel wants the world to see it is committing genocide in Gaza, and violating international law in numerous way across the region, because it is all a part of its pattern of psychological warfare.

After months of claiming Kiev needed to get used to the reality that it wasn’t getting Crimea back, President Trump is now claiming he believes that “Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is in a position to fight and WIN all of Ukraine back in its original form,” and he added, “who knows, maybe even go further than that!”

Former CIA Analyst Larry Johnson noted that Trump is sounding awfully similar to his special envoy, Keith Kellogg, with both underestimating Russia’s strength militarily and economically as a powerhouse of natural resources with strategic allies around the world.

Global tensions continue to rise, as the Trump Admin supports more endless war, with the U.S. continuing the proxy war against Russia, supporting genocide in Palestine, planning for war against Iran and China, and also apparently plotting regime change in Venezuela and a return to Afghanistan.

But while a slew of countries have announced that they are moving to recognize a Palestinian State, they are doing so by condemning Hamas and supporting an unrealistic two-state solution that the U.S. continues to stand against.

Journalist and Geopolitical Analyst Danny Haiphong noted that the aggression we are seeing from the U.S. right now is indicative of an empire in decline, and Washington can’t see past its goals of control and domination to realize why so many countries are attracted to the SCO and BRICS alliances, and the partnerships they offer.

European politicians seem to be more eager than ever for direct war with Russia, as Finland’s president says security guarantees would compel Europe to fight Russia if Moscow launched military action against Ukraine again in the future, and the President of the Czech Republic says NATO must be ready to shoot down Russian jets in response to alleged airspace violations.

Glenn Diesen, a geopolitical analyst and professor at the University of South-Eastern Norway, noted that while adhering to Washington’s demands, Europe is increasing its reliance on the U.S. and isolating itself from the rest of the world, and the long-term consequences will be dire for the continent.

President Trump is putting pressure on his fellow NATO members to stop buying Russian oil, and start targeting countries that continue to work with Russia, claiming that “if the price of oil comes down, Putin is going to drop out. He’s going to have no choice. He’s going to drop out of that war.”

While Trump doesn’t seem to understand the war in Ukraine, that hasn’t stopped the EU from following his commands, and the Bloc announced its 19th!! sanctions package against Russia on Friday, which includes measures against Chinese and Indian entities.

Former U.S. Diplomat and Geopolitical Analyst, Jim Jatras, noted that the latest fixation on third-party sanctions is a reminder that NATO is running out of options, and Kiev is running out of time, as Russia continues to hammer Ukraine with waves of drones and missiles, and pressure along the frontline.

One year ago today, the United Nations General Assembly gave Israel a 12-month deadline to end its illegal occupation of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. Not only has Israel not complied, but it has proceeded to increase its genocide of the Palestinians in both territories, with full support from the U.S.

Craig Mokhiber, an international human rights lawyer and former senior United Nations human rights official, noted that the legitimacy of the UN is at stake here, and it has the power to act right now to end the genocide by passing the Uniting for Peace Resolution with a two-thirds majority:

“Under the so-called Uniting for Peace resolution, the General Assembly, within 24 hours, could adopt a resolution that calls for the stripping of Israel’s UN credentials, calls for sanctions and a military embargo, calls for the establishment of a criminal tribunal, reactivates the UN’s anti-apartheid mechanism, and that establishes a multi-national UN protection force that could actually get into Gaza, protect civilians, facilitate humanitarian aid, preserve evidence of Israeli crimes, and begin the process of reconstruction.”
