After Rachel accepted Marcus' proposal, Kyle returns, leaving Rachel with a dilemma. For four years Marcus had been by her side, but now Kyle was back, wanting her just as much as he had the day of the crash. She needed to get away to make her decision, so she left for Aspen, only Kyle followed her to try to convince her that they belonged together.

What? Just Confusing!

This story moves at such a pace from drama to drama that there is absolutely no depth. I think another reviewer described it best as being like a school creative writing project. If more time was given to events, and more motivations and emotions explored, the book would have a better chance of gripping the reader and seeming more believable.

However, there are many discrepancies that need to be resolved too. For example, when Rachel races back to Aspen, Kyle turns up at the ranch to find her gone. But then there is talk about her not collecting him from the hospital. And then he is leaving the hospital. There is no mention of the reasons he was in the hospital and he seems to jump from place to place. Similarly, there is no way he could possibly have been found after the plane accident and left in a coma for 4 years without someone realizing who he was. Seriously, if a man's body had never been found and some guy was found nearby who couldn't be identified, it would involve a string of village idiots not to connect the two. And if it was my fiance I would never have given up searching until his body was found.
