A golden ticket into the Cox Plate is the prize for the winner of the Feehan, and class horses make their returns all around the country as spring heats up in the first week of September. Mr Brightside, Eduardo and Zaaki just to name a few.

That was the order of the day at Caulfield! The fit mare Snapdancer reigned supreme in the Memsie, we saw a sizzling return by I'm Thunderstruck, but most of all the headlines belonged to those whose bubble burst on the big stage.

The first Group 1 of the Victorian season has arrived and what a field that has assembled. All the regular segments are back and the boys are divided on lots of races, which we love!

We're joined on the podcast this week by Group 1 winning jockey Jordan Childs! Jordy has a massive Memsie Stakes Day coming up with Nonconformist and Passive Aggressive - two of whom look coming Group 1 winners in their own right.

It's just Benny and Nico this week as the stats man Willba takes a break to focus on the academics, but with the return of Group 1 racing comes the return (hopefully) of Group 1 tipping. We do our best work in the big stuff!

There were a few nice performances at Caulfield as Spring officially sprung, and another good day out at the jumps on Sunday saved the weekend.

The excitement levels are high at Racing Previews HQ and we're keen to bet. Spring only gets hotter and hotter from here on in!

The good horses will be back this week and beyond. Last week there wasn't too much to get excited about but we still managed to talk smack for over an hour!

We're only weeks away from seeing the top shelf horses back in action and we're keen to build a bank for the Spring! Saturday selections and a venture out to Sandown on Sunday on the cards.
