We're now just three weeks from the greatest show on turf as the Cheltenham Festival edges closer.
On Racing Weekly this week, Rishi Persad and Sam Turner are joined by leading jockey Brendan Powell as we review Amarillo Sky's win at Newbury on Sunday and Eldorado Allen's sublime run in the Denman Chase.
Rish and Sam preview a decent weekend of racing at Kempton, Newcastle and Lingfield before we get into a meaty preview of the Champion Chase on Cheltenham Wednesday. It will give us an opportunity to witness the Shishkin vs. Energumene rematch but ask if we're underestimating Chacun Pour Soi, Nube Negra and possibly Funambule Sivola who ran so well under Charlie Deutsch.
In our Talking Topics sectiont we discuss the Grand National weights and of course the comments from Michael O’Leary that Tiger Roll will not be attempting to win a third win in the famous race at Aintree.

In the fourth edition of Racing Weekly, Rishi Persad and Sam Turner are joined by in-form jockey Charlie Deutsch for a chat about Royal Pagaille and Funambule Sivola who continued its sparkling form at Newbury at the weekend for Venetia Williams.
Some unsavoury topics had to be discussed in the Talking Topics section as Sir Mark Todd, a licensed trainer and double Olympic gold medal-winning equestrian rider had to issue an apology after a video showing him hitting a horse with a branch. We also mention Brian Hughes who has stated that at present he doesn’t have a single ride at the Cheltenham Festival.
In Festival Focus, Sam and Rishi preview the Unibet Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham Festival and look at the without the favourite markets given the dominance of Honeysuckle.
Later, there's a brief Betfair Ascot Chase preview and we get Turner's Tip ahead of a decent weekend of racing at Ascot and Haydock.

In a packed edition of Racing Weekly, Rishi Persad and Sam Turner are joined by tipster and all-round Irish racing expert Johnny Ward to look back at a remarkable weekend of racing at Leopardstown and the Dublin Racing Festival. The chaps touch on performances from Honeysuckle, Sir Gerhard, Chacun Pour Soi, Galopin Des Champs, Conflated, Facile Vega and Vauban as Sunday saw a host of short-priced favourites go in for punters.
Johnny and Sam give us their insights on how the racing will affect performances at the Cheltenham Festival in March and ask, realistically, how many races will be won by English trainers?
Later we're joined briefly by Lucinda Russell and Peter Scudamore as we discuss Ahoy Senor, plans for the festival and ask what would they change about racing?
We also answer questions from the community, tackle your ante-post tips queries and Sam gives us ‘Turner’s Tip’ ahead of Newbury and Warwick.
