Is racism something that we are taught by our parents or fed through the media? Maybe both? What does white privilege mean? What's a white saviour?
As long as racism exists, it will always be a conversation topic that comes up. And this episode is on said topic. We will be sharing with you instances in our lives where we have either experienced racism, or a racist act, or said something racist. Sometimes it can be hard not to think a certain way about a certain race, after all, living on the west side of the world where the media constantly bombards us with news of terrorists and "what they look like", black people and "how they behave", creating a great divide and conflict within ourselves. We try to be PC, and practice oneness, but sometimes we try so hard we end up digging ourselves into a deeper hole...
We are all different but simultaneously the same. However, often times we are given biased opinions regarding what makes us different from "them" and what makes "us" the same. We say, go and find out for yourself, talk to people, learn about different cultures. If we can just be with each other, it teaches us how "be" with each other.
