On Friday the 9th of April 2021, Radi8 Radio collaborated with the East Asia committee in a livestream with Dr. Casper Wits; expert in Chinese foreign relations and our beloved lecturer in the courses of History and Politics of East Asia. In the light of International Mine Awareness Day, Ruihan & Elize interview Lala and Kateryna from Minemark, an NGO that aims to educate children and youngsters in high risk areas about the dangers of landmines, cluster ammunitions and other dangerous remnants of war. They speak about how raising awareness is crucial and about their projects in Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Bosnia and Herzegovina. They also discussed about how it is to work at a small NGO and how their impacts can still be of significance. 

Today, March 17th, the Dutch population will vote again for the national elections. In this last of episode of three election episodes, Radi8 Radio will interview CDA politician Pauline Maat. CDA presents itself as a party in the middle of the political spectrum, willing to cooperate with both left and right. Romeck will interview Ms. Maat, electable on the national election ballot and representative in the Haarlemmermeer municipality council, about CDA's plans regarding the future of The Netherlands. Special focus will be on what CDA will do for the youth, and furthermore what they will do for (foreign) students. Check it out!

In this second episode of "In Retrospect" Julian and Tobias interview Diego Morales from Indiana. Diego Morales, former senior advisor to Vice-President Mike Pence, is currently running for the position of Secretary of State in his home state of Indiana. The interview consists of two parts. In the first part Diego Morales explains to our hosts how he experienced the "American Dream" himself when moving to Indiana, talks about his run for office and his history with Mike Pence. In the second part he explains his view on the Biden presidency, the future of the Republican Party and a new Trump-presidential run.
