As that week came to close the disciple and all who had followed Jesus were left with more questions than answers. But with His resurrection, those questions would turn into remembrances. The crucifixion of Jesus was meant to put an end to His to His threats to the religious rule of the day. What happens is an expansion beyond the boundaries of their ability. The symbols of the crucifixion are many, but in this message we explore those meant to mock Jesus were actually used to solidify and testify the rule that He will bring when He returns as the conquering King of Kings.

As Jesus walked up to Jerusalem to begin the sacred events of the Passion Week, He told His disciples that they "will mock him, spit on him, flog him and kill him” in what they believed would be the end to Jesus’ threat to their religious rule. What we find is even in their envy of Jesus, the purposes of God are still fulfilled to the letter.
