In this message we look to a story in Mark 5:24-40 that illustrates succinctly the fullness of what the Bible means when it says "peace". God's vision for humanity and all of creation is total restoration through his Son Jesus Christ.

All of us live by some vision and version of greatness. Jesus in Matthew 18:1-5 confronts us with true kingdom greatness. Taking the humble, dependent and vulnerable posture of a child we find ourselves as full-fledged participants in the kingdom of God. Christ himself perfectly taking the posture of self-giving, sacrificial and cruciform love.

In this message we look at one of the most foundational passages of Scripture that almost encompasses the whole story in one small chapter. Psalm 1 gives us an invitation into a life oriented around God and his ways, that flourishes in his righteousness.

Today we looked at two categories of people. Those who build their lives on Jesus by hearing and practicing his way or just hearing and doing nothing with what he has said. God wants us to give our whole hearts toward practicing his ways together.

Jesus calls us to trust the goodness and gracious care of our Father. Worry is the antithesis to relationship. The only way to overcome worry is by casting it on him and seeking his face instead. Matthew 6:19-34
