As we come to the close of our Church In The Wild series, we explore the pastoral heart of Paul that can be seen in 1 Corinthians 16. As he concludes his letter, he gives one last charge to the church in Corinth, telling them to stand firm. We too must take this charge and stand firm as the unstoppable force that God designed the church to be.
Many preachers have said that the church is marked by hope. Have you ever considered that people are marked by hope? Through Jesus' resurrection every believer is marked and set apart. You are the face of the faithful resistance.
The idea of praying in a "spiritual language" can have a lot of stigma surrounding it. However, in this bold message Pastor Lee shares biblical truth on the matter. Praying in a spiritual language is simply being directed and empowered by the Holy Spirit while praying, and leaning into the unction that you feel in your spirit. This is a spiritual gift that we have access to if we ask for it!
What does it look like when God speaks through other people? As we enter 1 Corinthians 14, Lee Cummings explores Paul’s words on the spiritual gifts of prophecy and tongues and uncovers important truths of how these gifts affect us.
In 1 Corinthians 13 we read the familiar scripture that is known as the "love chapter." However, during the Church in the Wild series Pastor Lee shares a new take on what we can learn from this passage. Jesus is building His perfectly imperfect church through us, and this love we read about in this scripture is a game changer.
As we enter Chapter 12 of 1 Corinthians we explore what it means to serve a supernatural God. Did God create the world then step back and take his hands off? Or is it possible that we have a supernatural God that wants us to live a supernatural life? Can He still work in and through us today?
Brother Abraham joins us from India once again to share with us the exciting things that God is doing through their ministry and how Radiant's generous heart and prayers are a part of lives being changed!
Having a Kingdom Passion is paired with understanding where your priorities are at. We are called to be passionate about what God is passionate about and understand that we each have a 'race' we are called to, as Paul references in 1 Corinthians 9. Are you finish line focused?
Pastor Jon shares a message out of 1 Corinthians 8 that will make you reconsider what you might have thought was black and white. What should our response be as christians when there isn't a verse and chapter to reference? How do we navigate the grey areas?
The stark differences between the world's view of sexuality and the biblical view of sexuality is startling. Pastor Lee holds no punches in this message as he brings to light Paul's words in 1 Corinthians 7 to help us understand how sacred marriage is, that singleness is an opportunity and the fact that divorce is only a last resort.
