healing from narcissistic abuse can be broken down into phases. 

1. seeking & maintaining safety. 

2. revisiting the truth of the abuse & forming your own narrative. 

3. living in defiance of the narcissist’s rules. 

over the course of 26 years, the narcissists in my life manipulated me, confused me, and silenced me. rebelling against those rules means speaking my truth with my chest - my version. after years of therapy, shadow work, studying, and picking myself apart at the threads, i’ve reached a point of making sense of what i experienced. and i'm ready to use my newfound voice to put it into the world for others to relate to and learn from.

speaking out against abuse, as always, can have dangerous consequences. so even though i am safe at this point in my life, my hands are shaking as i write this episode description. but... if i go down, at least it won't be silently.
