I'm really excited today to share this conversation that I had with Imani Payne. Imani is a parent, consultant, space holder, advocate, and commentator on modern American motherhood. She aims to create a community through connection while sharing her personal matrescence journey online. 

I found Imani through a reel on Instagram where she talks about how nothing will radicalize you quicker than becoming an American mother. And I really resonated with her message. I think you will too. We get into all of that as well as her experience becoming a mother. 

Some themes that come up are talking about her ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, secondary infertility, navigating the medical system, and how she ultimately became radicalized by motherhood and how she has worked to unlearn a lot of the societal messages that we all receive. So I think you're really going to enjoy this smart and insightful conversation.
